With Amazon Vendor Central Program, you as a merchant do not act as a third-party vendor on Amazon, but sell your goods directly to Amazon - i.e. Amazon orders from you and you supply Amazon.

Companies participating in the Amazon Vendor Central Program can use the EDI data interface of Amazon with this add-on.

Amazon offers a so-called EDI file interface. The data exchange takes place via an SFTP server of Amazon.

Is it possible to edit the orders again after retrieving them from the Amazon Vendor Central EDI interface?

A: Yes. Here there are always slight differences from customer to customer and depending on the backend system used, how this should be implemented. Often the purchase orders (POs) are imported as an order into the ERP system in a certain waiting status. Then an employee can release, edit or cancel the items and quantities and then change the order status. This new order status can then serve as a signal to confirm the items back to Amazon Vendor Central. These processes and logics are always individual, but can be implemented with Synesty Studio.

Can the interface group different purchase orders (POs) by destination warehouse?

A: Yes. After receiving the POs we have all the information with which you can then implement different processes and scenarios.

Which inventory management system (ERP/WaWi) does the interface work with?

A: In the past, we have managed and implemented many projects in conjunction with plentymarkets.
Regarding the WaWi you are completely open, because Synesty Studio supports different data formats and services. Generally it depends on the available interfaces and import/export possibilities of your WaWi.
Synesty Studio has among others the possibility to create and process arbitrary file formats (e.g. CSV or XML) and to exchange them e.g. via FTP/SFTP with third party systems.
Direct communication via HTTP and REST is also possible without any problems. Here you have to see what the corresponding WaWi supports and what effort is behind it.

Base-packs, Add-Ons, Upgrades: You need at least one base-pack. A base-pack contains a basic setup of features and limits. Add-Ons contain new steps, functions and features for creating flows and automations. Upgrades can be purchased to increase your limits when you have exceeded them.
Flow: is an executable automated process you create. It contains steps. A flow is comparable to receipe in a cookbook, containing instructions which are executed sequentially.
Connector-Steps read input-data or write output-data e.g. files, APIs and external systems or call other flows. The number of Connector-Steps is limited depending on the base-pack. You can also purchase Upgrades to increase this limit. Connector-Steps are marked with the symbol.
Examples: FTPDownload, FTPUpload, GetOrders, AddOrders, GetProducts, UpdateProductData, UpdateStock, ExcelWriter, ExcelReader, ExcelSheetUpdate, FlowTrigger, FlowExecutingStep etc. are typical Connector-Steps.
Exceptions are e.g.: CSVReader, CSVWriter, JSONReader, VisualJSONReader, HTMLParser, Datastore Steps
Run: is a single execution of a flow. If you run a single flow 1 x per day you need 31 runs per month.
Traffic: The amount of data you transfer between by running flows (incoming and outgoing) will be counted per month. Each base pack contains a monthly limit of inclusive traffic.
Datastore-storage: You can store data in Datastores, if you want to store data inside Synesty Studio. The number of records you can store is limited by your base pack. Records are stored in datastores and datastores are basically like databases or tables with rows and columns. The columns can be customized to store any kind of textual or numerical data like product data with 'title', 'description', 'stock', 'price' etc. You can use Flows to save, update and read from datastores. But: the rows you are reading from external sources, processing or exporting are unlimited (Except during the FREE test period).

If you have exceeded certain limits (depending on your base pack), flows will stop to run. When that happens you can try to remove any of the above to get below your limits again or you can purchase a higher base pack or Upgrade.
