For our Synesty training on 10.05.2019 in Jena we were allowed to film a presentation by Andreas Werner (SLV GmbH) and are now finally happy to publish it for you.

Akeneo and Text Engine

In order to implement the project of automatic text generation, a product information management system (PIM) was needed as a starting point. A PIM system provides product information from different sources and can distribute it to different sales channels. Akeneo is user-friendly, offers efficient data management and allows the connection to third-party systems.

The second key point of the project's implementation is the self-service platform textengine.io. This generates natural texts from structured data using artificial intelligence.
