The Add-On for the repricing service PriceAPI enables online sellers to access competitor prices on price search engines and marketplaces. This is done by sending a list of GTINs (Global Trade Item Numbers) to PriceAPI through the API, and the service will return the competitor prices in response. Any e-commerce system that can supply product data, e.g. store, ERP, PIM, can be integrated.
The returned competitor prices can then be used by the seller for further processing, such as comparing them to their own prices and making adjustments as needed.
With the Add-On, sellers can quickly and easily retrieve pricing data from a variety of sources, including popular marketplaces like Amazon, eBay or Google Shopping. Sellers can then build their own repricing strategies by using custom rules and calculations e.g. filtering only for specific competitors. This means that sellers can tailor the repricing process to their specific needs and goals. The seller can just use the suggested prices based on the competitor data, or choose to manually review and adjust their prices.
