Steps like Mapper and Filter give you powerful tools to manipulate, filter or enrich the data to create any target format you need. This covers simple use cases (e.g. when a CSV file is enough) as well as more complex scenarios like XML files, REST API or GraphQL integrations. Through the integrated scripting language Freemarker you have the full power of IF-THEN-ELSE logic and loops to customize your integration.

• Base-packs, Add-Ons, Upgrades: You need a base-pack (Essentials) to use Synesty. With Essentials, you get all the key core features and capacities for productive integrations with Synesty. Add-ons extend Synesty with additional features, steps and templates for specific systems and use cases. As your needs grow, you can flexibly expand the Essentials package—either with individual capacity upgrades or with the Plus Features for team and governance capabilities and more complex integration architectures.
• A Flow is an executable automated process you create. It contains steps. A flow is comparable to recipe in a cookbook, containing instructions which are executed sequentially.
• Connectors establish connections to data sources and target systems. They read and transfer data, for example via files, APIs, or external systems. They can also call other flows or be triggered by external systems (webhooks). The Basic Package (Essentials) includes a certain number of connectors. If needed, this number can be increased through upgrades. You can recognize connectors by the icon. Examples: FTPDownload, FTPUpload, GetOrders, AddOrders, GetProducts, UpdateProductData, UpdateStock, ExcelWriter, ExcelReader, ExcelSheetUpdate, FlowTrigger, FlowExecutingStep etc. are typical Connectors. Exceptions are e.g.: CSVReader, CSVWriter, JSONReader, VisualJSONReader, HTMLParser, Datastore Steps
• Datastore-storage: If needed, you can store data in a Synesty internal database (a so-called datastore). You can think of datastores as databases or tables. For example, they can store items with freely definable fields such as title, description, price, and inventory. Datastores are filled and read row by row by flows. The number of records you can store is determined by your plan’s capacity. But: the rows you are reading from external sources, processing or exporting are unlimited (Except during the FREE test period).
• Traffic: The amount of data you transfer between by running flows (incoming and outgoing) will be counted per month. Each base pack contains a monthly capacity of inclusive traffic.
• Run: is a single execution of a flow. If you run a single flow 1 x per day you need 31 runs per month. They are included in the Essentials package and cover a wide range of use cases.

If capacity limits are exceeded, flows will no longer be executed. You can try to bring your usage back within your capacity limits by deleting items, or upgrades.

Your data is safe. All data is stored in a data center in the European Union (EU) / Germany. You always have full control over all stored data in your account. You are the data owner (data ownership). There are several export-functions you can use at any time, to backup and delete ALL your data.
