The functional scope of this package offers beginners a good basis to implement a first project e.g. between 2 systems and bidirectional data transfer. This ranges from simple data feed optimizations, data imports and exports to ERP store connections or more complex logics for data preparation or analyses.

If some limits are not sufficient, they can be easily upgraded.

Application examples of what you can do with this package:

The Connectors are usually sufficient for a simple store integration or about 5 supplier data imports
Exchange files via URL (HTTP,HTTPS), FTP, SFTP or WebDAV.
Call flows by URL and pass flow-variables via HTTP-Parameters - Start flows externally by a URL Webhook call. This allows you to better integrate external applications with Synesty Studio.
Individual limit upgrades are possible - each limit can be increased separately by upgrades.

What are Flows, Steps, Datastores und Upgrades?

Base-packs, Add-Ons, Upgrades: You need at least one base-pack. A base-pack contains a basic setup of features and limits. Add-Ons contain new steps, functions and features for creating flows and automations. Upgrades can be purchased to increase your limits when you have exceeded them.
Flow: is an executable automated process you create. It contains steps. A flow is comparable to receipe in a cookbook, containing instructions which are executed sequentially.
Connectors read input-data or write output-data e.g. files, APIs and external systems or call other flows. The number of Connectors is limited depending on the base-pack. You can also purchase Upgrades to increase this limit. Connectors are marked with the symbol.
Examples: FTPDownload, FTPUpload, GetOrders, AddOrders, GetProducts, UpdateProductData, UpdateStock, ExcelWriter, ExcelReader, ExcelSheetUpdate, FlowTrigger, FlowExecutingStep etc. are typical Connectors.
Exceptions are e.g.: CSVReader, CSVWriter, JSONReader, VisualJSONReader, HTMLParser, Datastore Steps
Run: is a single execution of a flow. If you run a single flow 1 x per day you need 31 runs per month.
Traffic: The amount of data you transfer between by running flows (incoming and outgoing) will be counted per month. Each base pack contains a monthly limit of inclusive traffic.
Datastore-storage: You can store data in Datastores, if you want to store data inside Synesty Studio. The number of records you can store is limited by your base pack. Records are stored in datastores and datastores are basically like databases or tables with rows and columns. The columns can be customized to store any kind of textual or numerical data like product data with 'title', 'description', 'stock', 'price' etc. You can use Flows to save, update and read from datastores. But: the rows you are reading from external sources, processing or exporting are unlimited (Except during the FREE test period).

If you have exceeded certain limits (depending on your base pack), flows will stop to run. When that happens you can try to remove any of the above to get below your limits again or you can purchase a higher base pack or Upgrade.

AddUpdateMappingset

Creates or updates a Mappingset based on 2 columns of a Spreadsheet.

APICall

Makes an API/HTTP-Request. Supports parsing of XML/JSON responses and pagingation.

EmailSend

Sends a single E-Mail.

FlowTrigger

A step which can trigger another flow in a separate run. The caller can override variables of the flow.

FlowTriggerSimple

A step which can start another flow if it is not already running.

FTPDownload

This step downloads or lists files from FTP. The result is a list of files. Currently you can specify a filterPrefix and suffix to filter for the files / folders you want to download or list.

FTPRemove

Deletes a file or filelist from FTP or SFTP server

FTPRename

This step renames a list of files on FTP. Currently there are two modes which are support: 1. Rename a single file to a new fileName or prefix the oldfilename Here you need to specify the input parameter remoteFilename and the parameter newRemoteFilenamePrefix or newRemoteFilename 2. Rename a list of files using a prefix which will be infront of the new Filename (e.g. [DONE_]OLDFILENAME.xml) Here you need to input a List which currently needs to be the result of another service which is executed before this step.

FTPSingleFileDownload

This step downloads one single file from FTP. Currently you can specify a filenamePrefix and suffix to filter for the files you want to download. If there are multiple files which match the criteria only the first one is taken. The files will be ordered by descending modification date on FTP so the latest file would be taken out of a list.

FTPUpload

This step uploads a list of files to a FTP.

This Step can do multiple HTTP Calls based on a SPREADSHEET. Use it to connect to various kinds of webservices/APIs. Supports single calls and batch processing of multiple rows.

JSONReader

Reads JSON file into a Spreadsheet object.

JSONReaderVisual

Reads JSON into a Spreadsheet object providing a simple graphical User-Interface.

KeyValueSpreadsheet

Converts a SPREADSHEET into a special Spreadsheet which can be used as a key-value map.

Reader

Reads JSON and XML files into a spreadsheet with a graphical user interface.

SpreadsheetUrlDownload

This step can do multiple HTTP Calls based on a SPREADSHEET. Use it to connect to various kinds of webservices/APIs. Supports single calls and batch processing of multiple rows.

StoreDebugFile

Store one or more files for a short time for debugging purposes. Traffic counts.

ToList

Creates a list of serveral inputs.

This step renames a single file or a list of files on a WebDAV-Server. You can also move the file(s) into a existing subfolder.
