This add-on allows you to upload files to a GoogleDrive account, download spreadsheets and files. Also, you can update or attach data of a sheet.

  • Update, replace or append Google Sheets directly (also different worksheets)

If you manage e.g. article data or price lists via GoogleDrive (formerly Google Docs) in e-commerce, then you can use Steps to automatically access this data and import it e.g. into your store or marketplaces. Or you can use the opposite direction, e.g. to write orders from your store or marketplaces directly into Google Spreadsheets. Also practical is the possibility to use GoogleDrive as an additional backup storage space - for example as a supplement to an FTP server.

Google Chat support

Unlike the name of the add-on suggests, This Add-On also includes a step to send messages to a room in Google Chat. The messages can be sent as part of a flow or automation process, which can save time and improve efficiency.

This allows for use cases like:

  • Customize message content using known Synesty templating features
  • Can be used to communicate and collaborate with a team or group of people, especially when working remotely or on a project together
  • Provides the ability to send notifications on specific events, such as errors, to alert relevant parties and take appropriate action
